HOW TO PLAY
ATLANTIC 49
Getting Your Numbers
Atlantic 49 is played throughout four Provinces, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Pick up a ticket at any lottery retailer (or play on-line - called PlaySphere) and select SIX numbers from 1 to 49.
If you don't want to pick your own numbers, you can have the terminal computer (Insta Pick) choose your numbers.
You can also buy tickets in advance -- up to 10 consecutive draws.
Tickets cost $1 for TWO PLAYS of 6 number combinations.
The Draw
Every Wednesday and Saturday evening, SIX numbers plus ONE BONUS number are drawn.
Draws take place at approximately 10 p.m. Atlantic time.
Prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the draw.
Prizes can only be redeemed in one of the four Provinces.
The draw is held at Moncton, New Brunswick, using a ball machine.
Jackpots
Jackpots are always $1 Million and are NOT carried over.
If there is more than ONE winner, then the Jackpot is shared among all winners.
The chances of winning the Jackpot are 1:13,983,816 per SIX NUMBER COMBINATION. Since you get two six-number combinations per $1 wager, your chances of winning are 2 out of 13,983,816 possible combinations.
